Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has publicly called out Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, declaring his intention to settle their ongoing feud inside a boxing ring. Speaking in a recent interview with Nevo Media, the controversial entertainer revealed that he aims to face Burna Boy immediately after his proposed bout against popular content creator Carter Efe.
Speed Darlington explained that the potential match would serve as an outlet for the built-up frustration surrounding his previous arrest, which he directly attributes to Burna Boy. The rapper made it clear that he harbors deep resentment over the incident, stating that a victory in the ring against the Afrofusion star would be a major milestone for him.
"The plan is after I finish with the Carter Efe, I hope they can make it happen. I want Burna Boy next so I can offload all my anger on him," Speed Darlington shared during the interview, adding that such a matchup "would be sweet" and mark "the highlight of this year."
Addressing the root cause of their bitter dispute, the rapper emphasized that he has no intention of reconciling with Burna Boy, regardless of how a potential fight might end. He maintained that the experience of being detained is something he cannot overlook or put behind him.
"He had me locked up, that’s what he did to me. That’s the deal, I can’t forgive that," Speed Darlington stated firmly. "Even after the fight, we are still enemies for life."
