Regina Daniels Fires Back at Kemi Olunloyo Over Comments on Her Fans

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has hit back at controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo following an online clash over the behavior of the movie star's fan base.

The public exchange began when Olunloyo took to Instagram to complain about the constant backlash she was receiving from the actress's supporters. Addressing them directly, the journalist requested that they cease directing hostile comments toward her page. "Dear Regina’s IG fans. Pls take your toxicity and negative energy far away from me," Olunloyo wrote.

Reacting to the plea, Regina questioned why Olunloyo was suddenly complaining about online hostility. The actress explained that she had consciously chosen to ignore the journalist in recent times because she had stepped back from social media controversies, but felt compelled to respond to the complaint.

"Sorry I have to publicly laugh this laugh pls…. Aunty werey…who sent you? just because I am now a retired wahala person I kept you quiet to be zuzuing… don’t you know someone staying one place recovering from what would have killed the likes of you will be itching to faint somebody?" Regina wrote in her response.

She expressed surprise at Olunloyo's reaction, questioning her sudden sensitivity to fan backlash and addressing the journalist's age in her response.

"How can you tell my geng to stay away from you? I shock I swear! So you know the meaning of that all these while? Or was it because of your daily 2k? If that’s it, no wahala ride on jare! I gerrit. Plus because of your grey hair, you merit my response. Don’t feel accomplished and put the praises on your experience because if it’s by that, you won’t beat your chest, speaking nonsense in queen’s English that’s not making any sense," she added.
