Lady Calls Out Reekado Banks' Management Over Unfulfilled Stage Performance Compensation

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to publicly accuse the management team of popular singer Reekado Banks of failing to honor a financial promise made to her following an on-stage appearance with the artiste.

In a video that has gone viral across online platforms, the lady shared her side of the incident, explaining that she had been invited onto the stage to dance alongside Reekado Banks during a recent live performance. She noted that while she thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was preparing to head back to her seat afterward, a member of the singer's management team approached her.

According to her account, the manager informed her that she would be financially compensated for participating in the performance. The lady stressed that she had neither requested payment nor expected any money for joining the singer on stage, but the manager voluntarily initiated the gesture and exchanged contact details with her to follow up.

After the event, she sent a message introducing herself to the manager to establish contact. However, she claimed her initial message was ignored and yielded no response or compensation.

The situation took a turn days later when another individual claiming to be associated with Reekado Banks' team contacted her to ask if she had received the promised payment. Seeking clarity, she reached out to the first manager again to confirm whether the second person was genuinely part of their team. Although the manager asked her to send a screenshot of the conversation, she claimed her messages were once again ignored despite subsequent follow-ups.

Expressing her frustration over the lack of communication, the lady clarified that her concern was grounded in principle rather than greed. She noted that she would have moved on without expecting a single dime had the team not made an unsolicited promise in the first place.

"It’s not even about the money. If they had not offered compensation, I wouldn’t have expected anything," she said. "But once a promise is made, it should be honoured and properly communicated."

At the time of reporting, neither Reekado Banks nor his management team has issued a public response or official statement regarding the allegations.
