Israel DMW Dismisses Rumours That Davido Is Working for the APC

Israel DMW, the logistics manager for Afrobeats superstar Davido, has strongly refuted allegations claiming that the singer is secretly working for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Addressing the public through a statement shared on his official Instagram account, Israel labeled the speculations as completely fabricated falsehoods manufactured simply to drive social media engagement and traffic. He urged fans and the general public to treat the claims with the disdain they deserve while reaffirming the artist's unwavering political stance.

"Dearest Nigerians, kindly disregard the useless rumours going around that Oga has been secretly or is currently working for the APC," Israel stated, emphasizing that Davido's prior positions on political matters remain entirely unchanged.

To underscore his principal's integrity, Israel revealed that the award-winning musician has turned down lucrative offers worth millions of dollars to endorse presidential candidates. According to him, Davido chose to stand in solidarity with ordinary citizens facing economic hardship, vowing that he would never compromise or betray public trust.

"Oga has rejected several millions of dollars to endorse any of the presidential candidates," he added. "He keeps saying he would be with Nigerians, who are going through a lot, and that he would never betray them at all. What else do Nigerians want again?"

The social media clarification comes in the wake of heavy online backlash directed at Davido following his uncle's public declaration of support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
