Celebrity Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has issued a formal legal warning to street-pop singer Seyi Vibez, demanding the immediate deletion of disparaging social media posts made about her. The legal friction comes in the wake of an escalating public feud between Seyi Vibez and his former record label boss, Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper. During an online dispute involving royalty claims and allegations of missing funds among former Dapper Music signees, Seyi Vibez directed several sharp jabs at Baci, who is romantically linked to the music executive.
In his online posts, the singer made bold accusations, alleging that Dapper spent catalogue funds on Baci's cosmetic surgery procedures and claiming that her cooking had once almost killed him. Unwilling to overlook the comments, the Guinness World Record-holding chef quickly responded through her legal team, accusing the artist of libel, defamation, and malicious intent to damage her personal and professional reputation.
According to the official demand letter, Baci's legal team has mandated that Seyi Vibez permanently remove all offending publications, images, and videos across his social media accounts. Furthermore, the notice requires the singer to issue a prominent, unequivocal public apology and retraction, alongside a written commitment to cease making any further defamatory statements concerning her within three days, or face formal court proceedings.
