Ex-BBNaija Star Anto Lecky Appointed Special Adviser on Tourism and Creative Economy in Edo State

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Dr. Munirat Lecky, popularly known as Anto, has been appointed as the Special Adviser on Tourism and Creative Economy to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Anto shared the exciting career milestone in an Instagram post, expressing profound gratitude to the governor and key state officials for the trust placed in her to serve the people of Edo State. Reflecting on her transition into public service, she noted that receiving a promotion to do more for her home state within a little over a year has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Following her appointment, the reality TV star issued a call to action for other public figures and celebrities who secure government roles. She urged them to step out of their comfort zones, return to their home states, and actively contribute to community development, emphasizing that grassroots impact is both meaningful and fulfilling.

Best known for her breakout appearance on the third season of Big Brother Naija in 2018, Anto has successfully bridged the worlds of entertainment and public service. As she steps into her new office, she has also invited members of the public with innovative proposals regarding tourism and the creative economy to reach out and share their ideas.
