Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has shared his excitement following a surprise appearance by political figure Peter Obi on a TikTok Live session. Obi recently joined the Emir Sirdam Show on the platform as part of early engagements leading up to the 2027 general election.
Reacting to the session, Peller warmly welcomed the former presidential candidate and commended him for interacting with the online community. Playfully embracing the cross-generational crossover, the streamer humorously dubbed the politician his new peer in the content creation space.
"Peter Obi, God bless you, sir. We’re so happy to have you on our TikTok o. Peter Obi, our colleague, I love you, sir," Peller expressed during his reaction.
Looking ahead, Peller predicted that TikTok’s growing influence in public discourse will soon attract even more heavyweights from the political sphere. Suggesting that digital platforms are becoming essential spaces for modern engagement, he added that public figures of all ranks would soon follow suit, declaring that audiences will eventually be shocked to see even sitting presidents hosting live sessions on the platform.
