Ehi Ogbebor Opens Up on Past Marriages, MC Oluomo Relationship, and Overcoming Abuse

Interior designer and celebrity businesswoman Ehi Ogbebor has spoken candidly about her highly publicised personal life, addressing past relationships, allegations of dating married men, and her history with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) President Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo. Reflecting on her high-profile romance with MC Oluomo, which first caught public attention around 2021, Ogbebor pointed to his faith to explain her decision to date him, noting that polygamy is accepted in Islam. Though their romantic relationship eventually ended, the pair have maintained a cordial friendship over the years, with Ogbebor celebrating his birthday publicly in 2022 and visiting him in 2024 to congratulate him on becoming the national president of the NURTW.

Addressing widespread online rumors, the businesswoman firmly denied the narrative that she makes a habit of taking other women's partners. Ogbebor challenged anyone claiming otherwise to confront her directly, insisting that she has never snatched anyone's husband. When asked about past friction involving actress Caroline Danjuma, Ogbebor opted to skip the topic altogether, questioning whether she had taken Danjuma's husband either. She emphasized that despite enjoying personal beauty and financial success, she has experienced two failed marriages, adding that external accomplishments do not guarantee immunity from heartbreak.

During the interview, Ogbebor shared harrowing details of her first marriage, which she entered at just 18 years old to a man she admits she barely knew. She recounted severe incidents of domestic violence, alleging that her ex-husband once beat her so severely that she lost consciousness, only to wake up to him pouring olive oil in her mouth. She further alleged that while pregnant, he pushed her down onto her stomach, causing her to bleed, yet immediately began demanding her baby's placenta from the attending doctor. Additionally, she highlighted patterns of financial control during the union, recalling how her former partner would dictate small household expenses down to exact line items for basic groceries.

Despite the trauma of her past experiences, Ogbebor maintained that she has emerged resilient, financially independent, and unbothered by public perception. She explained that her journey has completely reframed her outlook on love and self-worth, leaving her focused entirely on her own peace of mind. Dismissing ongoing public chatter as mere background noise, the entrepreneur stressed that she earns her own money and will unreservedly pursue whatever brings her genuine happiness.
