Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has once again expanded his high-end vehicle collection after purchasing a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. The singer unveiled his latest luxury acquisition via his Instagram Story, confirming that the striking black SUV marks the third Maybach to enter his personal fleet.

The vehicle, which was delivered directly to Atlanta, Georgia, was first teased on September 3, 2026, when a luxury auto dealer announced the sale to the music star. Featuring the signature Maybach grille, sleek chrome detailing, massive alloy wheels, and the iconic emblem on its rear pillar, the luxury SUV boasts a starting price of roughly $180,000 in the United States—translating to over N230 million before options, taxes, and shipping fees.

Under the hood, the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 delivers high-tier engineering to match its plush interior. Powered by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine featuring mild-hybrid technology, the vehicle pushes out 550 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a swift 4.6 seconds.

This latest addition comes just months after Davido took delivery of another rare model, the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 “White Ambience.” The open-top luxury roadster, which he originally ordered in 2025, arrived at his Lagos residence in May 2026.

Beyond his growing trio of Maybachs, the Grammy-nominated artist maintains one of the most talked-about celebrity car collections in Africa. His sprawling garage features multiple Rolls-Royce models, Lamborghini supercars, Tesla Cybertrucks, a Bentley Bentayga, and several Range Rovers.
