Popular Nigerian dancer and hype man Iweh Pascal Odinaka, professionally known as Poco Lee, has made his official return to social media following weeks of legal trouble and detention in the United Kingdom over alleged sexual offences. The entertainer shared his first Instagram post since his arrest, giving fans a glimpse into his life after being granted bail.
In a series of photos posted on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Poco Lee appeared relaxed as he posed along the streets of Cabot Square in London before sitting down for a meal at a local restaurant. His post also included a video clip showing him cooking Chinese food while listening to music. Choosing not to address his ongoing legal case directly, the dancer captioned the post simply with his native name, “ODINAKA.”
The social media update marks Poco Lee’s first major activity online since news broke of his arrest in London. In August, Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed that the dancer was facing five criminal charges: two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. The alleged offences reportedly took place in Tower Hamlets, East London, on July 23.
After spending several weeks in custody, Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11. Although rumors circulated on social media claiming the complainant had dropped the charges, the UK court confirmed that the case remains active. In response to the speculation, his management team issued a statement urging the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and to allow the judicial system to take its course, while also expressing gratitude to industry figures for their support.
With his preliminary legal hurdles temporarily set aside, the dancer's court schedule is now set for early next year. Poco Lee is scheduled to appear in court for a plea hearing on February 8, 2027, with his trial expected to formally begin on March 8, 2027.
