Burna Boy Makes History as First Sub-Saharan African Artiste to Reach 4 Billion YouTube Views

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar and Grammy Award winner Burna Boy has set a monumental record by becoming the first Nigerian and Sub-Saharan African artiste to surpass four billion total views on YouTube. The historic milestone reflects the combined view counts across his official YouTube channel, cementing his position as a global music powerhouse whose visuals continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

This latest achievement adds to an impressive string of platform records for the singer. Back in 2021, Burna Boy broke new ground as the first Nigerian artiste to cross the one billion views mark on the platform, establishing a momentum that has only accelerated as his international footprint expands.

The record highlights the ongoing global explosion of Afrobeats, with Burna Boy remaining at the forefront of bringing the genre to world stages and digital streaming platforms alike.
