BBNaija's Sheggz Debunks Financial Dependence Rumors, Clarifies Bill Splitting with Bella

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Sheggz Olusemo has publicly refuted claims alleging that he relied on his ex-girlfriend and fellow reality star, Bella Okagbue, for financial support during their relationship.

Speaking in a recent interview, Sheggz addressed the persistent narrative surrounding their finances, pushing back firmly against accusations that labeled him a "gigolo." He maintained that he carried the heavier financial weight throughout their time together, explaining that the division of expenses was heavily tilted in his favor.

"I’m not a gigolo. Bella and I split the bills 70-30, and I did the most," Sheggz stated, clarifying that he contributed significantly more to their shared lifestyle than he was given credit for.

The reality star expressed frustration over how the public narrative unfolded, noting that the rumors suggesting he exploited Bella financially only gained widespread traction after the couple split without getting married. According to Sheggz, the narrative was unfair and largely fuelled by the disappointment surrounding their eventual breakup rather than the reality of their relationship dynamics.
