The ongoing war between Native Records powerhouse Odumodublvck and legacy label Chocolate City just reached an incredibly dangerous new peak. Taking to X on Tuesday, the "Declan Rice" rapper sent shockwaves through the industry by claiming Choc City is actively trying to have him arrested—marking what he alleges is the ninth time the label has tried to lock him up over the past year.
According to Odumodublvck, the latest legal ambush was timed perfectly to disrupt his current European tour, echoing a similar move that allegedly happened right before his American run. But what shifted the conversation from standard industry beef to a serious safety concern was the rapper's description of the actual police summons. He pointed out that the document arrived completely wiped of any verifiable contact information or phone numbers.
“You send a petition without a phone number on it. Do you want to kidnap me? Do you want to pull me to the side and shoot me?” he fired off publicly, tagging the Nigerian Police Force. The rapper boldly claimed that the label is simply trying to silence him after he exposed an alleged sexual abuser working under their roof.
This messy battle isn't new; the bad blood has been spilling over since late 2025, sparked by a fierce rivalry with Choc City’s Blaqbonez. Things took a physical turn last December when Chocolate City accused Odumodublvck of headbutting a staff member backstage at Rhythm Unplugged, sparking multiple assault and criminal intimidation lawsuits in Lagos and Abuja. Defiant as ever, Odumodublvck ended his tweet storm by letting everyone know the trap failed: he’s already overseas and the tour goes on. At the time of publishing, Chocolate City has remained silent on the heavy allegations.
