Aki and Pawpaw Divided Household Items When Moving Out, Reveals Chinedu Ikedieze’s Wife

Stephanie Promise Ikedieze, the wife of veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze (popularly known as Aki), has offered a humorous glimpse into the early days of her husband's legendary partnership with Osita Iheme, widely known as Pawpaw. In a video shared online on September 10, Stephanie revealed how the iconic screen duo split up their household belongings when they eventually decided to stop living together and move into separate homes.

Before becoming two of Africa’s most recognizable comic icons, the long-time friends and on-screen partners shared a residence during the early stages of their careers. Stephanie recalled that when the time came for them to go their separate ways, the process of dividing their shared possessions was straightforward and practical.

Detailing the split in pidgin English, Stephanie laughed as she recounted how basic kitchen items and household goods were partitioned between the two actors. "Him and Pawpaw dey stay together before, as them wan pack comot, everybody dey share property. Aki carry pot, Pawpaw carry kettle," she revealed.
